Writing is one of the ways I find out what I think. It sits somewhere between record, experiment and encounter: a place for following connections between research, lived experience, making, growing and whatever else refuses to stay in its assigned category, very much like I do.
Much of what is here begins before I know what it is for. A sensation, an image, a question, something noticed at the allotment or in the middle of research. I write to stay with these first marks for long enough to see what they might become. Some develop into research or more deliberate work; others remain fragments of life as it is being lived.
This is where I leave some of those trails visible.
